Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm: Mommy, James, Cohen, and Lydia
This ornament is from the amazing Tulip Festival we attended with my mom, Bonnie, Mizz, and the kids. It was such a beautiful and memorable trip, filled with vibrant colors and wonderful moments together. Truly one of those experiences that I’ll cherish forever!
Ballerina Mouse: Lydia
Bonnie also got Lydia a sweet ballerina mouse ornament. It’s perfect for her, and Lydia was thrilled to add it to the tree.
Mouse with Backpack and Mushroom: Cohen
Cohen’s ornament from Bonnie is a mouse with a backpack and mushroom, which suits his adventurous spirit perfectly.
Mouse with Ball: James
Bonnie bought these adorable little mouse ornaments for the kids when she visited us in NYC. James’s ornament is a cute mouse holding a ball, and I love that she thought of the kids when picking these out!
Seattle Aquarium: Lydia
Mizz, Grandma, and Bonnie took Lydia on a special weekend trip to Seattle to celebrate her potty training milestone. They visited the Seattle Aquarium, which Lydia absolutely loved. I was supposed to go too but stayed behind to pack for our move. This ornament is a sweet reminder of their fun adventure together.
Playbill Wood Ornaments (Come From Away, MJ, The Music Man, and Six): Mommy
In honor of my amazing Broadway trip in May, Dad made these adorable wooden Playbill ornaments. I printed out the Playbill covers and put them in the frames. I made extras for Christina, Nate, Brittany, and Kari as a fun little project. Now I have a special reminder of all the shows we saw together!
World Grand Prix Cars ornament: James
James has been completely obsessed with Cars and Planes this year. We’ve watched Cars 2 more times than I can count! He loves Lightning McQueen and Francesco so much that he insists on sleeping with them every night. Luckily for me, it’s a great movie that I don’t mind watching over and over again!
Blue and Bingo: Lydia
The kids were absolutely obsessed with Bluey this year—so much so that we even threw Lydia a Bluey-themed birthday party! I decided her yearly ornament should be Bluey to honor the countless hours we spent watching it.
Blue and Beta Dinosaur Ornaments: Cohen
For Cohen’s yearly ornament, I got him Blue and Beta from the latest Jurassic World movie. He dressed up as Blue for Halloween and even had a Jurassic World-themed birthday party. He’s absolutely fascinated by these movies and thinks Blue is the coolest dinosaur ever.
The Polar Express Ticket: Mommy
We went on the Polar Express again in New Jersey this year—it’s always such a magical experience. Since I didn’t get an ornament last time, I bought this one for myself along with a bell ornament for James.
Little Mermaid Ride Mickey Ears: Lydia
Lydia’s favorite ride at Disney World was The Little Mermaid. She rode it over and over again with Mizz! So naturally, her ornament had to be themed after her beloved ride.
