Jeff decided he wanted to do a session at the Philadelphia Temple. I thought it would be fun to take the kids to the Philadelphia Zoo since Jeff was already driving down there! It worked out perfectly. Jeff did his session and the kids, and I enjoyed the Zoo. It’s not a big Zoo, but they sure had some fun exhibits. They had a bunch of cat walks and monkey walks all over the zoo so animals could move from exhibit to exhibit. We got to see a tiger in one and some monkeys! Cohen thought it was the coolest exhibit ever! Most of the food places were closed which was annoying but we made it work.
I bought zoo keys for the kids. James wanted some squishy alligator, but I knew he would lose it the moment the other two kids used their keys, so I made him get one. They used them several times, but we had to wait for all three kids to do the key. It was funny. I think my favorite part was when we finished at the zoo and we passed by the gift shop, James tried to hand me my key and said, “I don’t want this one.” I knew what he was up to, but I was having none of it. There was no way I was going to go into the gift shop again for something else. Luckily, he handled it well and we made it to the car and picked up Jeff. Another great trip to the Zoo!
