Cohen’s first Broadway show is officially in the books—Aladdin! His kindergarten class had the incredible opportunity to see the production, courtesy of Disney, as part of their theater study unit. I was lucky enough to chaperone and witness what I hope will be the first of many Broadway shows for Cohen.
He absolutely loved it! At one point, he leaned over to me, eyes wide with wonder, and whispered, “Mommy! Flying carpets are really real!” It was such a magical moment that perfectly captured the excitement and awe of his first Broadway experience.
I can’t wait to share more shows with him in the future—it’s just the beginning of what I hope will be a lifelong love of theater!
