I can’t think of a better way to kick off October than by seeing Harry Potter and The Cursed Child on Broadway! I promised Cohen a while ago that if he finished reading and watching the Harry Potter books and movies, I’d take him to see The Cursed Child. He’s been asking about it for a while now. I actually won tickets back in July, but it was right after Jeff’s surgery, so the timing wasn’t great. After a few unsuccessful tries, I was pleasantly surprised to win tickets for tonight!
I was really excited to finally see the show with Cohen. I had seen the two-part version with Jeff back in 2018, but honestly, I preferred the one-show version. It was more concise and focused on the main plot without diving too much into the backstory like the two-part version did.
Cohen was pretty scared of the Dementors at first, but once I warned him when they were coming, he was able to relax and enjoy the show. He seemed to really love it! I’m so happy I can share my love of Broadway with the kids!
