Maria and I finally won another lottery and got to see Hell’s Kitchen. This show had a lot of buzz leading up to the Tony Awards, but it didn’t end up winning many. While I know several people who are fans of the musical, Maria and I weren’t overly impressed. I think part of it has to do with the fact that neither of us are huge Alicia Keys fans. While the music was fun at times, the storyline felt weak and, frankly, a bit boring. The show just didn’t live up to the hype for us. I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend it to anyone.
