Karlyn, Jilyn, and I went to see Waitress today! I’d heard such great things about the show and really wanted to catch the original cast, so I’m thrilled we made it happen. It was such a fun musical—and the lobby even smelled like freshly baked pie, which was kind of amazing. They sold little “pies” you could buy, though I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t have a crust on the bottom (but I suppose that’s asking a lot!). My favorite song was Never Ever Getting Rid of Me—Christopher Fitzgerald absolutely stole the show with it.
