It may be after Christmas, but we still wanted to squeeze in the Holiday Lights before they were taken down. Supposedly, the Bronx Zoo used to do these lights every year, but due to environmental concerns, they stopped for quite a while. This was the first time since we moved to the city that they brought them back, so we knew we HAD to go see them—and they did not disappoint!
The lights were absolutely incredible—I’ve never seen anything like them before. The animal-themed displays were so creative and fun, and the kids absolutely loved them! We also stopped to watch an ice sculptor in action for a while, which was fascinating and added even more magic to the evening.
It was such a beautiful night, and I’m so glad we got the chance to experience it. What a perfect way to keep the holiday spirit alive just a little bit longer!
