Today Jeff and I went to see Cohen in a little play at school. Cohen played the wolf in the “Three Little Pigs.” He did an AMAZING job. He knew his lines (even though he wasn’t at the practice the day before) and he even did a little wolf voice. I was one proud Mama.
At the end of the plays Ms. Greene let the parents ask the actors questions. After two questions Cohen yelled, “Ms. Greene! Let my mom go next!”
Everyone started laughing and Ms. Greene looked at me and said, “Well, do you have a question?”
My mind racing, I came up with a question for the Little Red Hen, but before I could finish Cohen interrupted, “No, Mommy! Ask about the wolf!” Everyone started launching again.
I said, “Fine, Cohen, how was it playing the wolf?”
Cohen then said, “Great! I loved scaring those little piggies”
The look on Ms. Greene’s face when he said it was priceless. She just started laughing so hard (as did the rest of the parents in the room). I love Cohen so much. He’s just such a sweet little spirit and he brings me such joy. It was a great morning and I’m glad Jeff and I got to be there to witness it.
