It was a cold but happy month! We spent time with friends, explored a few museums, and even enjoyed a lovely trip to Washington State.
January 1 – Church in Eatontown
We started the year visiting our friends in the Eatontown ward. It was wonderful catching up with everyone, and Cohen was thrilled to see his little friends again.
January 11 – Scooting in the Gym
This never gets old! Watching Cohen zip around the gym on his scooter always makes my day.
January 12 – Joy School Artwork
This was my week to teach Joy School, and the kids created art projects using shapes. I loved watching their creativity shine as they turned simple cutouts into colorful masterpieces.
January 17 – Cohen and His Cars
Cohen has been completely into his new block set lately, building elaborate ramps and tracks for his cars. He’s so proud of his creations — and honestly, I’m impressed too!
January 18 – Cohen in Bed
One of my favorite moments each day is listening to Cohen over the monitor as he talks and sings to himself before falling asleep. His imagination is endless, and it’s such a sweet glimpse into his little world.
January 19th – Quick Visit To AMNH
Cohen and I took a quick trip to the American Museum of Natural History today. It was quick trip, but we did make it all the way to the Easter Island Head!
January 22 – Cohen and the Lions’ Den
Cohen’s primary teachers are amazing! Today they taught about Daniel in the lions’ den and helped the kids make lion masks. Cohen couldn’t wait to come home and continue the pretend play — our house was full of roaring and laughter all evening!
January 29th – Playing In The Snow At Church
January 31st – OMSI With Harmizzle
We made a quick stop at the OMSI Museum, where Cohen loved exploring the kids’ area and had a great time playing in the water.
