A bunch of families from our ward decided to venture out to Rockaway Beach, and since I’d never been before, I figured it would be a fun adventure. Let’s just say I’ve never been more grateful to have a car—it was quite the trek, and I can’t imagine doing it on public transportation! The beach itself was wonderful. Cohen didn’t spend much time in the water (which honestly was a relief since it makes me so anxious), but he had a great time running around and playing with some of the other kids from the ward.
