Cohen and I met up with some friends, Maria and Ursula Moyers, in our building’s playroom to watch the eclipse. Right at 2:44 p.m., the sun disappeared behind a layer of clouds, but we caught glimpses through breaks as they drifted past. It turned out to be a perfect way to experience the eclipse—we stayed cozy inside, chatting and playing, then stepped outside every so often to check on the sky.
Note to self: Always watch solar eclipses with friends!
