This year at our ward Christmas party, Cohen got to be a shepherd in the Nativity pageant! Luckily, Auntie Harmizzle had given him a stuffed lamb for his birthday—though some of the older shepherds kept trying to steal it from him. He was absolutely thrilled about his role. I let him pick out the fabric for his costume, and of course he wanted purple—his favorite color. I managed to convince him to go with a lighter shade, and it turned out perfect.
The party itself was wonderful. We enjoyed delicious Middle Eastern food while sitting on blankets spread out on the floor. It was so nice catching up with friends and watching Cohen dash around with his buddies—especially his wild friend Henry and his best friend Hunter.
First Snow of the Season
After our ward party, we stepped outside into a winter wonderland. Fresh snow was falling as we walked home, and the Lincoln Center Christmas tree sparkled with a dusting of white. Cohen absolutely loved it—and he was so sweet to pause and let me take pictures!
