One of Cohen’s favorite things to do when we visit my family is to go in and wake them up in the morning. Fun, right? Well, not when he wakes up at 6am! Because I love my family, I made sure to keep Cohen in our room until 7am before I released him to do his thing.
On one of the first mornings my dad came out of his room and said I needed to grab my camera and and take a picture of Grandma and Cohen. I walked into their room to see that Cohen had jumped into the recliner (where Grandma sleeps) and was snuggling. It was such a cute moment. Cohen did this several times during the summer.
The other snuggle tradition was with Auntie Harmizzle! EVERY NIGHT she read him a bedtime story while they cuddled!
Sometimes they were on her bed and sometimes on the couch, but it didn’t matter where because books and snuggles were always involved. Barienstine Bears books were the favorites of the summer. Luckily Auntie Harmizzle has an awesome collection! He also liked a baseball joke book that he didn’t get at all but loved. He’s such a lucky kid to have such an amazing grandma and aunt.
